Session 5
To know about Yeshua — read the Bible
Luke tells us why he wrote his Gospel:Luke 1:1-41 Many people have set out to write accounts about the events that have been fulfilled among us. They used the eyewitness reports circulating among us from the early disciples. Having carefully investigated everything from the beginning, I also have decided to write a careful account for you, most honorable Theophilus, so you can be certain of the truth of everything you were taught.

The Bible helps us to Believe in Yeshua
Yeshua’s teaching is succinct — to the point — and we need to think deeply about it to digest its full significance. This is why it’s so important to be in fellowship with other followers of Jesus each week; to listen, to learn as well as be encouraged by the testimonies that are shared.
This website has plenty of information as well as talks that can be listened to if you don’t manage to get to make the meeting. Some even download the talks to hear again so they can understand more than they managed first time around.
You may like to tune into the God Channel or listen to Premier Radio, but one thing is for sure it’s worth getting hold of worship CDs/downloads to play at home and in the car. All these things help us draw closer to Yeshua.
Yeshua is the One who changes us
It doesn’t end there, as Yeshua said (Matthew 7:21-25) and James echoed in James 1:22, we need to put what we have learned into practice.
Yeshua has given us the Ruach ha-Kodesh (The Holy Spirit) who is only a breath or a thought away, and it's so important to spend time with Him every day. We know that the more time we spend with someone, the more we become like them.
