The narrative is word-for-word from the NIV Bible and is extremely well done. Dean Jones does an outstanding job as Luke as does James Brolin as Simon Peter. Bruce Marchiano brings to life a Jesus that is approachable and loving, unlike many other depictions that show the Saviour as a quiet, reserved, almost untouchable man.
